DG MARE organised several workshops within the context of the Energy Transition Partnership. The workshops will follow the main areas identified in the Communication on the Energy Transition in EU fisheries and aquaculture.
The first workshop covered the financing of the energy transition and has taken place on 28 November 2023, here you can find the report of the workshop.

The forth workshop Ports: Navigating the Challenges of the Energy Transition in EU Fisheries and Aquaculture took place on 5 November 2024 and focused on the key challenges ports and stakeholders face during the energy transition. Here you can find the report of the workshop.
The Energy Transition Partnership for EU fisheries and aquaculture organised a series of workshops on 11–12 December 2024, focusing on the energy transition and decarbonisation of EU fisheries. Please find the reports for each segment - Small-Scale Fisheries (SSCF), Large-Scale Fisheries (LSF), and the Distant-Water Fleet (DWF).
On 19 February 2025, the Energy Transition Partnership held a new workshop focusing on the energy transition and decarbonisation of Inland and Offshore Aquaculture, involving representatives and stakeholder from the two key sectors. Here you can find the report of the workshop.

Support Group Webinars
To support stakeholder dialogue and knowledge exchange, webinars will be organised across all segments of the Energy Transition Partnership for EU fisheries and aquaculture. Each webinar focuses on a specific energy transition theme and produces a concept note to guide discussions within the support group. The first webinar took place at the beginning of November 2024.
