The YOUMARES'15 Organising Committee is thrilled to announce that abstract submissions are open for the 15th Conference for YOUng MArine RESearchers (YOUMARES'15) — a global, youth-led conference that brings together early-career researchers, students, practitioners, and ocean innovators from science, policy, and industry to co-create solutions for a sustainable ocean.
YOUMARES’15 is taking place from 22 to 24 October 2025 in Kiel, Germany. This years’ theme is Ocean Connections - Bridging Science, Policy, and Communities for Conservation and Recovery.
Whether you're a student, researcher, policy advocate, or working in the ocean industry — from sustainable fisheries and aquaculture to blue tech, renewable energy, or marine conservation — YOUMARES is your platform to share insights, ideas, and solutions.
