As a PhD student at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (AWI), I am deeply committed to advancing our understanding of permafrost dynamics in the Arctic. With a keen interest in shoreface dynamics on permafrost coasts, my research focuses on studying the changing landscape in the Western Canadian Arctic. Through fieldwork activities such as compiling and collecting bathymetric data, I contribute to long-term data collection initiatives and facilitate the analysis of environmental changes in the Arctic waters. As a meticulous and experienced researcher, I excel in designing and implementing study parameters, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of research outcomes.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I'm deeply committed to education and outreach, promoting awareness of climate change and its impacts on Polar regions. In my previous role as an Education and Outreach Coordinator, I've led project teams in developing sustainable solutions for marine conservation. Organizing workshops and fostering high school students' interest in Polar sciences, I aim to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards. With over 100 climate- and ocean-related seminars presented to various organizations, schools, and institutes, I'm dedicated to furthering public awareness and engagement in sustainable action.

With a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on our planet, I am driven to contribute to meaningful research and outreach initiatives that address the urgent challenges facing our oceans and Polar regions.
