The 8th edition of YAS 2024 will be hosted in the Université Bretagne Sud in Vannes, Brittany (France) from 27 to 30 May 2024. With a long history in seaweed harvesting in Brittany, this combines well with our objective to improve seaweed’s presence in YAS, along with microalgae.

During YAS24 you can meet your peers, discuss your ideas in the social time, meet pioneers in the field from academia and industry, and listen to their talks. Additionally, you will have the chance to visit microalgae and seaweed local companies.

Do you want to make an impact in the algae sector? And do you have a scientific or business idea that you want to share with like-minded algaeneers? Then, the YAS Innovation Competition is for you!

As one of the novelties of this event, the YAS24’s Innovation competition will give you the chance to present your idea to solve a bottleneck in the field. You can also share your work in a Poster presentation, where the best one voted by the audience will be awarded with an Algae prize.

But that’s not all, a typical social dinner will also be organised!
