This event is planned as part of an Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund (ALSF) project to re-examine marine geophysical and geoarchaeological data from the Eastern English Channel, to better understand the archaeological potential of the region in terms of human activity in prehistory and the more recent wrecks of ships and aircraft. The workshop is specifically intended to bring together researchers from both sides of the Channel and make best use of marine data.
