Description

Following the publication of the European Commission's Communication COM(100)2023 on the Energy Transition of EU Fisheries and Aquaculture in February 2023, a consultation exercise was launched with the working groups of the Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) to gather stakeholder input and expertise. Two years after the launch of the ETP, this high-level event marks a key milestone in the partnership's journey, bringing together all stakeholders and EU institutions, including the European Council, the European Parliament, and the European Commission, to present the partnership's recommendations and unite behind a shared vision for the EU Fisheries and Aquaculture sector's future Energy Transition Roadmap, driving towards a competitive and GHG emissions neutral sector.
This workshop is organised by DG MARE and the Energy Transition Partnership Assistance Mechanism (ETP AM).
