Nausicaá raises funds to support the actions of Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) that provides rescue and rehabilitation for sick or injured seabirds, rears chocks from abandoned eggs and carries out research, education and training on seabirds. So far 200 South African penguins have been rescued and released successfully into the wild thanks to the donations of visitors to Nausicaá.
