The Clean Boating team will collaborate with pupils of the CC Sant Alfons school in Mallorca to create pieces of art from the microplastics collected in the Clean Boating Beach Clean-ups. The goal is to raise awareness of microplastic pollution, promote circular economy and reduction of plastic use, while engaging children in a hands-on creative activity and a competition for the best pieces of art/handcraft. The winners will receive a Clean Boating prize.
This activity addresses all group ages as children will show their pieces of art created from microplastics to their parents and grandparents and therefore raise awareness of the plastic pollution problem.
The event will took place on 1st June from 10:00 to 12:00 CET in CC Sant Alfons (Felanitx), Mallorca.
