"Green and blue literacy at school" is an educational and outreach project conceived to engage a group of high-school students and their teachers from a rural area in the introduction of marine sciences and ecological topics into their formal curricula. The project conceived at the interface between freshwater and marine ecosystems engaged the school community in theoretical and practical sessions (both in the lab and on the field) and has received recognition as member of the Network of European Blue Schools.
