Recently, I have completed my Erasmus Mundus Ph.D. in Marine and Coastal Management from the University of Cadiz, which was fully funded by the European Commission's prestigious Erasmus Mundus program. Prior to that, I completed my second Master’s degree in Water and Coastal Management, also fully funded by the European Commission’s highly competitive Erasmus Mundus program. Before that, I also earned a Master’s degree from the Institute of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, in the field of oceanography. My research interests include but are not restricted to: ocean acidification, marine and environmental pollution, trace metals, radioisotopes, ecotoxicology, conservation and management of marine and coastal biodiversity, bioaccumulation of contaminants in aquatic vegetation, bioavailability of contaminants in coastal and estuarine water and sediment, environmental quality.
