DelTa (Dolphins and Turtles in the Gulf of Trieste) is a non-profit association for social promotion established in May 2016 on the initiative of a group of marine biologists, veterinarians and university students in biological sciences with the aim of promoting a culture for the conservation of marine and coastal ecosystems, for the respect of natural ecosystems, sustainable development, training, scientific research and its dissemination.The association is born from the experience gained in more of twenty-year by its founders in the management of marine protected areas, marine environmental education and dissemination, monitoring of marine species and habitats, first aid on cetaceans and sea turtles.
