Love The Oceans is a marine conservation organisation working in the UK and Mozambique. LTO is a UK registered charity and non-profit. The mission of our work in Mozambique is to establish a marine protected area in our district using a multi-pronged, community-led approach. We do lots of different areas of research and community outreach including: fisheries, ocean trash, marine megafauna, humpback whales, coral reefs and turtles. We take students from across the world to Mozambique to help with research and collect their thesis data and we do talks across the world (predominantly across Europe) on our work, marine conservation, and what people can do to help. We also run school trips with European schools to enrich curriculum.Love The Oceans was recently recognised as 1 of 15 global grassroots forces for change by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and received international recognition for our work.
