With the goal of fostering behavioral change in future generations, The Wave Generation project was born, based on three fundamental pillars:

Climate Change: Raising awareness about the need to develop projects focused on mitigating climate change in Mallorca.

Environmental Education: Providing educational tools that integrate practical approaches and meaningful experiences to foster behaviors and values that lead to sustainable and environmentally respectful habits.

Emotional Education: An eco-emotional program designed to promote connection with oneself, the group, and nature through yoga workshops, teamwork activities, and outdoor excursions.

In summary, students—divided into groups of no more than six members—worked throughout the school year on an environmental issue they were concerned about, such as coastal pollution, invasive marine species in Mallorca, threats in marine fauna, seahorses problems and Posidonia oceanica. During their work sessions, each group was supported by a scientific expert in their chosen topic, allowing them to gain firsthand knowledge and insight.

After eight work sessions, students created a final product—such as posters, board games, videos and children's stories—which were evaluated by experts and presented at a final congress.

Additionally, the project included a nature outing consisting of a snorkeling activity where the students learned about the Medgardens marine phanerogam restoration project. Also, students carried out a yoga session, effectively combining environmental and emotional education.
