A training project in a net of six schools
The ocean has a huge potential as space for exploration and meeting between the living beings, and as a resource for medical, economic, social and ecological activities.
The Mediterranean is an "ancient" sea, a place of great biodiversity and a meeting point for different civilizations, and the Gulf of Naples is an ideal geographical location and "gateway" to the Mediterranean, where our activities find their pedagogical meaning and practical implementation.

Objectives:
-knowledge of geographical, historical, scientific and environmental aspects of Mediterranean sea;
-dissemination of conscious "blue behaviour"

Activities:

Understanding: oceanography and marine biology
courses with experts, marine protected areas;
environmental education, eco-sustainability and global warming;
the geological history of the Mediterranean and its civilizations,
migrations in the Mediterranean; history of “caracciolini ship” and Giulia Civita
