ADT4Blue aims to accelerate digitization and sustainability in the blue economy by promoting the adoption of advanced digital technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain. These technologies are crucial in driving efficiency, innovation, and environmental sustainability within industries like marine resource management, fisheries, shipping, and coastal tourism.
In addition to this goal, our methodology will help enhance technical and entrepreneurial skills in advanced digital technologies and the key sub-domains of the blue economy among a diverse group of participants, including students, alumni, and startup entrepreneurs (with a special focus on seniors and underserved communities). By equipping these individuals with the knowledge and expertise needed to navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape, we aim to foster innovation and create new opportunities for sustainable growth within the blue economy. The project spans from 2023 to 2026. ADT4Blue partners are located in Ireland, Portugal, France and Spain.
