Short description of the action
This is an initiative launched on a voluntary basis by Dr. M. Gaglioti, marine scientist and educator, after a field experience in Malapascua (Philippines) end 2024-early 2025.
Through the elaboration on some outreach contents 10 posters were developed to support some key local stakeholder in the implementation of future outreach and restoration initiatives engaging the local community. Among the key topics addressed: MPA regulations; fishery; Coral ecology and biology; Coral restoration; Sharks and sustainable diving; Extreme events in tropical regions; Blue carbon ecosystems.
