We wanted this project for our students because until it, they used to say that The Black Sea is important only for sunbath. During the activities they were involved they learnt so many new things. They discovered that the sea is full of marine animals and plants and , if we don`t protect them , we will distroy not only them but our lives as well. They were supported in the project by the volunteers of Mare Nostrum Organization, who explained them the importance of water, how to keep it clean, to protect the animals. The activities were held indoor and outdoor and the children had also trips. In some of them they went to the border of the sea and cleaned the beach and in others , they visited the Aquarium in Constanta. Some of them started some actions in the village in order to make the adults more protective with the environment.
