ASCOMARE is an international think-tank established in 2018 to promote knowledge-sharing and the uniform interpretation and application of the corpus of rules of public international law governing maritime spaces and activities, in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 14.c of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. To achieve this goal, ASCOMARE is involved in various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the understanding and implementation of public international law. This includes conducting research, organizing conferences and workshops, and providing training and capacity-building programs. The work of ASCOMARE is inspired by human rights and environmental principles.
