Students fighting plastic pollution in the sea

Short description of the action

Pollution with plastics is a major problem affecting the daily lives of everyone, as it comprises nearly 85 per cent of all the litter. The proposed event aims to raise awareness among citizens and, in particular, young citizens in the region of Burgas and the Black sea coast on the impact of plastic litter on human health, to foster the understanding how important it is to collect, separate and recycle plastic litter stemming from and in European rivers, coastlines and seas and increase the scientific as well as ocean literacy of young people - the future of Europe.
