Digital Ocean Knowledge Hub

Short description of the action

The Digital Ocean Knowledge Hub will act as a centralized platform for data sharing, research, and collaboration on marine health and restoration efforts. Utilizing FAIR principles, Alliance on Nature Positive Economy will contribute evidence-based knowledge and data to support EU efforts in digitalizing ocean and water management. This knowledge hub will foster partnerships with universities, research institutions, and environmental organizations to gather, analyze, and share marine data.

This initiative will empower stakeholders, including citizens, researchers, and policymakers, to make informed decisions for marine conservation. Through open access to reliable data, the hub will facilitate collaborative research, monitor biodiversity trends, and aid in achieving restoration targets. Additionally, it will support ocean literacy and public engagement, enhancing collective knowledge and accelerating efforts to protect marine ecosystems.
