Students of the 6th grade, in the context of the “Connect” educational program and more specifically the scenario entitled "The marine food chain" got to know the diversity of the marine world and the importance of the marine ecosystem. They were informed about the marine food chains, visited the Aquarium of Crete, and they also created artistic compositions (collage on cardboard 50 * 70) with which they participated in a Panhellenic Student Competition entitled "The sea I want to have" by Laskaridis Foundation. In addition, they visited the modern plastic recycling unit of the company Plastika Kritis SA, where they were informed about the recycling processes of industrial and municipal plastic waste and its importance for the marine ecosystem.
