I am a biologist with a specialization in marine ecology, deeply passionate about understanding and protecting our natural world. Since childhood, my love for nature has driven me to both study it and encourage others to appreciate it. This led me to choose biology as a profession, working to bridge knowledge and conservation. My journey has taken me from Spain to Kenya, where I explored Marine Protected Areas and fishing community interactions, to Norway, where I studied the North Sea's impacts and pressures, and to the Baltic to investigate how cod populations are adapting to a changing world. Each experience has deepened my commitment to marine conservation, making me feel proud and grateful to see the world while doing what I love most: connecting with nature. Each journey has also shown me that conservation starts at home, which led me back to my "sea-town" on the Mediterranean, to research in the environment I love and grew up in. Here, I am currently engaged in a project investigating the impact of underwater noise on marine biodiversity, focusing on cetacean populations. In my free time, I enjoy diving in our beautiful sea, exploring the nearby mountains, and traveling to reconnect with the friends I have met along the way.
