The aim of our project is to increase the knowledge and awareness of our students about the protection of freshwater resources and the biodiversity in them, and water and ocean literacy.
To increase the knowledge and awareness of students about freshwater resources and ecosystems. To realize the importance of biodiversity and protection. To learn the positive contribution of the Longoz ecosystem to greenhouse gas absorption. To understand the importance of not polluting and protecting freshwater resources. To encourage computer game programming and the use of digital skills in problem solving. To encourage students to work on a project basis, to cooperate and to participate in volunteer work. To increase the knowledge and awareness of students about the reduction of greenhouse gases and the importance of recycling. To increase the knowledge about the endemic species found in Acarlar Longoz and their protection. Concrete outputs of the project: 1- Computer game. 2- Printing of an illustrated magazine describing the biodiversity of Acarlar Longoz. In our project, students program a computer game about the protection of Yaylı water resources. A nature education trip is organized to Acarlar Longoz. They receive training in agricultural activities and beekeeping to protect biodiversity and apply them at school. There are practice gardens in our school garden where students can work.
