The project aims to develop activities and actions that enhance ocean literacy, particularly concerning the impact of daily activities of the population and local economic activities on the Ria Formosa Natural Park. We intend to promote observation and coastal cleaning actions, monitor the Ria Formosa (supervising local flora and fauna), observe the daily habits of the population that may negatively (or positively) influence the health of the estuary. We plan to collaborate with the robotics club of the school cluster to carry out measurements with sensors. We also aim to collaborate with the Canoeing and Surfing Sports Training Center to extend our blue message to all center attendees and conduct cleaning and monitoring campaigns in the most inaccessible areas of the estuary. To do this, we will have the support of various local organizations and influential personalities in the field. We also count on the support of the Multimedia Vocational Course for the production and dissemination of images and documentaries.
