STEM FOR BLUE

The STEAM for Blue project includes activities related to the storage water ecosystem and storages, including increasing sustainability awareness, literacy and environmental awareness. Within the scope of this goal, comprehensive STEAM events, field trips and trials have been planned to take an active role in the local location solution and become the responsible startup in their complex global solution. Within the scope of the project, inspiring collaborations from different disciplines were established and local events specially designed around the water ecosystem and plastic tanks were organized.

Project started with their logo designs and ended with an exhibition showcasing their products. Qualitative and quantitative measurement tools were recorded before, during and after training.
According to pretest-posttest studies, students' environmental awareness, sustainability awareness and water literacy increased significantly.
The website prepared by the students at the beginning and throughout the project is an important product output of the project. Students also participated in satisfaction surveys at the end of the project to analyze their feedback. According to this survey, students enjoyed the process very much.
An official website prepared for the project served both the visibility and dissemination of the school website. The prepared activities were published on the website weekly and at the end of the project.
Meetings will be planned to share experiences with students and teachers.
Cooperation with provincial and district national education directorates will continue to disseminate the project results.
