WindCredible is a promiser start-up which is developing a next-generation wind turbine, that besides being vertical, is efficient, quiet, stable, birds friendly and suitable for residential and urban environments. This wind urban turbine is a 10-year R&D result on top level Universities and has 4 patents successfully filed. Windcredible has wan several innovation events: Climate LaunchPad 2022; Clean Future 2023; Prio Jump-Start 2023; ELÉTRICO PITCH 2023; and Websummit 2023 (best performance in bootcamp).
This proposal aims to establish a Strategic Partnership - MoU with APL (Port of Lisbon Authority) for the development of the Nano and Urban product.
We are currently in the Alpha phase - prototype validation in operational environment, with objectives of technology development, manufacturing, business model definition, and green energy generation.
Main objectives:
• Verify the feasibility of implementing the test version of the Urban Test turbine at the port of Lisbon.
• Installation, operation, and monitoring of the Urban Test turbine.
• Installation of the Commercial Urban version.
Project Specifications:
The decision to install WindCredible turbines considered the following factors: Location; Innovation; Wind resource availability; Green Energy generation; Authorizations and licensing; Yield forecast; Financial analysis; Installation; Maintenance; Insurance; Warranty; Intellectual property; and Communication.
the project kicked off on January 11th. We are currently in the first phase, awaiting technical evaluation for the physical implementation of the equipment. At that point, we will be ready to proceed to the next phase.
