My name is Christian Clauwers, professional documentary photographer and storyteller.
For more than a decade, I have been visually documenting the effects and impacts of climate change worldwide, educating on various scientific projects and research, and focussing on the relationship between humans and nature, conflict and indigenous knowledge.
The core of my work is raising environmental and ocean awareness through visual storytelling, international exhibitions, lectures, conferences and (book) publications to promote awareness and understanding about the impacts of climate change, marine and polar science, biodiversity and indigenous peoples.
As EU ambassador for the Climate Pact and a fellow of The Explorers Club, it is mission to build bridges between science, policy and industry through images and visual storytelling.
