Our project aims to enable intergenerational learning and knowledge exchange based on ocean preservation, ancient fishing practices and human stories.
We have chosen Stintino, Italy, a small fishing community that no longer relies on the tuna fishing industry. We will bring together new generations and elderly sailors to share, discuss and preserve the knowledge that has remained unknown, so that we can record it in a series of podcast episodes.

We will address topics like ocean preservation, climate change, sustainability, ocean literacy, life below water, sustainable and traditional fishing methods, etc.
The recording sessions will be carried out in a safe environment to enable the participants to feel comfortable with one another.

Our sessions will be organised in three episodes, following a 1-hour structure:

- Episode 1 "The Last Rais". Conversation with the last rais, the chief fisherman of the tuna fishing.
- Episode 2 "From Sea to the Plate". Conversation with the owners of a fresh fish restaurant called Ittiturismo Antares.
- Episode 3. "Vela Latina boat building & sailing competition". Conversation with the artisans creating these traditional boats and the sailors who participate in the race.

We will collaborate with local artists who will create music and record marine sounds that will be included in the podcast.
