Campus do Mar

The Campus do Mar, led by the University of Vigo, is a transnational academic network formed by 8 universities and 5 research organizations which develop their activities with a focus on marine and maritime science, technology and its socioeconomic impacts. It represents more than 3,000 researchers that belong to the founding organizations and other affiliated stakeholders. The main area of influence of Campus do Mar is the Galicia-Northern Portugal Euro-region and Atlantic façade, although its activities often have a wider impact and audience, with partners in other European and overseas countries.
