The main aim of the project is to form to our students a responsible civic and ecological behavior and to develop their communication skills, by integrating European values in the process of education and training. It is important to involve in our activities the regional factors (environmental agencies, representatives of the community, mass-media, local authorities) to act together to prevent the destruction of the marine eco-system. The project participants will be involved in activities that contribute to the formation of a proper attitude towards the marine environment, by addressing specific issues in school activities, through interdisciplinary lessons. Thus, teachers involved will promote and apply differentiated, interactive methods, and created captivating teaching materials that can support students in the learning process. We hope that our project will be very attractive for students due to the diversity of activities included in the implementation plan: biodiversity of the marine environment, protection, and conservation of coastal areas, exhibitions (drawings, paintings, objects, models), literary creation, the greening of the beaches. All these contributed to the increase of the motivation, to the stimulation of the creativity, and the desire to involve the whole school community, fact materialized in a large number of participants and in the obtained results.
Also, the students got involved in the preparation of some dishes based on fish and seafood, publishing the recipes in a culinary brochure entitled The taste of the sea.
The relevant aspects of activities and all the products of the project will be posted on a padlet and could be accessed by all those interested.
