Talk CEC is a new and unique cultural center in Brussels engaged with environmental issues. Our current immersive biennal exhibition, Seas & Oceans, is a fusion between Art and Science to raise awareness on environmental issues through a new prism. More than 50 international artists participated in this exhibition. Twenty collaborated with scientists from research centers and NGOs, offering a unique combination between art and science. The first objective of your project is to build a wider community around ocean-related issues (research centers, NGOs, schools, youth organizations, media). The second is to encourage the circulation and access of scientific knowledge to the widest possible audience, and to all generations, by organizing a wide range of events (conferences, seminars, workshops, urban and contemporary art exhibitions). The final objective is to offer a new experience for learning and sharing about ocean-related environmental issues, through an art-science dialogue.
