EMODnet Ingestion pledges to continue attracting new data providers and further diversifying marine data ingested into EMODnet such as from civil society, citizen science and wider societal activities

To successfully confront the big challenges for healthy, clean and well managed oceans, we need more data than the one existing in data repositories, especially for coastal areas. EMODnet Data Ingestion provides a facility that can be easily used by all those who gather data at sea to submit and share them with EMODnet, increase their availability, improve the knowledge for the marine environment and contribute to our common vision for the future of our oceans.
