I pledge to include basic lessons about the ocean in my classroom and to spend 1/2 a day per semester teaching my class about the ocean.

The Ocean is the reason why this planet is called Blue Planet, it's our identity, is where life first appeared, is stability and the balance of our climate, of our home as humanity. We sometimes forget that climate change is real, but nothing improved, we just look on the opposite side hoping problems will disappear, that we can continue our lives like before. We have to teach our children that nothing will improve if we pretend pollution and global warming don't exist, that we don't have to change our lifestyle. We have to keep talking and teaching about this vital issue, it's for our planet and for us, humans if we love our children and we want them a future!
