Vasilis is an undergraduate student of the Dpt of Fisheries Technology & Aquaculture of the University of Patras. He has acquired basic theoretical and laboratory knowledge in the Marine Sciences sector, such as Fisheries, Aquaculture, Chemical and Geological Oceanography. At the end of his 1st BSc year, he worked as an unskilled staff of the fish farm company SELONDA S.A. for two months. He has participated in field surveys within and outside training frameworks as well as in environmental awareness events with the iSea. He is a student member of the European Aquaculture Society. Since September 2019, he is involved in the citizen science project of iSea « Is it Alien to you? Share it!!! », collecting observations of alien fish species.
