Description

The aim of my project is to prevent further pollution of marine areas in Spain, Italy, Greece and Montenegro. Me and my team have devised a plan to create a Smart Shark, a shark that will detect waste in the seas of these countries. We came up with the idea since during the voyage and training of water sports at sea we were confronted with a large amount of waste. We are appalled by the fact that there is no primarily human responsibility for dumping waste in the sea, but also for the millions of ships and cruisers that ship daily emitting oil, gases and toxic substances. With this patent, we want to increase people's awareness of the pollution of water and that there is no justification for throwing garbage in seas, oceans, because it can create diseases and infections that affect the human body, as well as the entire underwater world, marine vegetation, coral reefs and increase air pollution. This shark will be built of waterproof and environmentally friendly materials that are easily adaptable to seawater. When it comes to waste, the shark's tail will wiggle and be reddened, so we will be able to know immediately where it is via GPRs. The Smart Shark production process will be supported by Italian naval equipment company “Osculatti” from Milan. Our prototype will be first presented at the Politecnico de Milano University in robotics labs, where there are 3D printers, various applications and software digital technologies.
