Plastic pollutes the whole Planet. It is the first polluter of the oceans. The plastic that we see washing up on the shores or floating on the surface of the water is only the visible part of the garbage heap. More than 2/3 of the plastic released into the sea ends up at the bottom of the ocean, creating an increasingly large pile of waste under the water. These products are then found in the stomachs of marine fauna, whole or in the form of microparticles, which in turn have a chance to pass through the food chain. This waste causes the mortality of many aquatic species, marine mammals and birds. The purpose of this project is to produce an Underwater Drone (ROV) entirely printed in 3D.The drone will be fitted with a clamp and deployed to collect waste from oceans, lakes, and ports. It will also help with research and recycling of waste. No one has tried to design a 100% 3D printed Underwater Drone yet. Indeed, it is a big challenge in terms of resistance, tightness and pressure. Many people wonder about the ability of FDM 3D printing to be submerged in water. The aim would be to help small structures that do environmental protection. They could eventually get equipment like mine at a very competitive price. All this in order to do prevention and talk about the efficient management of resources. Highlight eco-design, responsible consumption, lengthening the duration of use and recycling.
