The European Atlas of the Seas includes several tools that can help you in your work and in your journey to learn more about the Ocean, seas and coasts. These include the print tool that allows you to print maps, the My Maps tool which makes it possible for you to create your own working space in the Atlas and the measure tool. The measure tool includes three components. It allows you to
- Calculate the distance between two locations on a map;
- Estimate surface areas on a map; and
- See the geographical coordinates for any location on the map.
