Description
On the eve of World Oceans Day, 7 June 2024, we invite you to join us for a full day of debates and multi-themed conferences with artists, researchers, and NGOs.
About
We've put together a wide-ranging series of sessions to help you understand why it's vital to take action to preserve our seas and oceans. The aim is to highlight the extent to which the ocean's influence on us, and our influence on the ocean, is essential if we are to live and act sustainably.
With the European elections just two days after, we consider this day to be an essential reminder of the importance of the European Union and our elected representatives making a joint commitment to a strong environmental policy and an effective sustainable transition.
Talk C.E.C. recognizes the necessity of a dedicated exhibition for such a crucial topic to raise awareness among both experts and the general public about the conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of our oceans and their resources.
As with our biennial 2023-2025 Seas & Oceans exhibition, which occurs in 3.500 square meters because such an important topic needs a big dedicated space, Talk C.E.C aims to enhance the public's knowledge base and provide tools to move from expertise of the oceans to action through an artistic/scientist dialogue.
The event is financially supported by the EU4Ocean Coalition. Talk C.E.C. is one of the winners of EU4Ocean Challenge of the Year 2023.
