Synergies & Clustering Final Event

The Synergies & Clustering project is coming to an end. Over the course of the past two years, the long-term impact of some 90 EMFF-funded grants on their beneficiaries has been evaluated. Further, 10 workshops have been organised with a view to fostering synergies and cooperation between project beneficiaries.

It's now high time to present the results of this work to the public. Besides informing participants about the results of the project, the event will gather feedback as to how the framework developed during the project could be improved and/or made permanent. It will also address current gaps and actions needed to foster synergies between project beneficiaries, regardless of funding programme, with a view to maximizing the use of public money to attain EC goals and objectives. This might be particularly relevant in the context of the EU Green Deal.

The event is specifically conceived to involve the Coherence Panel, as well as other members of the European Commission, who may take benefit from or contribute to the discussion.

It will take place at Thon Hotel EU, Rue de la Loi 75 in Brussels on 19 September 2023. EU Commission staff are invited to join live on site, whereas project beneficiaries will have the opportunity to follow the discussion online.
