Description
European European seas are the scene of unlawful activities. Trafficking in narcotics and human beings thrives on organised crime and illegal immigration. Cross-border threats faced by Member States in the EU maritime domain require an improved trans-national and trans-sectoral approach. The workshop aims to stimulate debate among EU Member States’ authorities on different options for enhancing operations and law enforcement capabilities. This will help address many of the challenges and hence help maritime authorities perform their duties better.
