Description
We will celebrate the start of the Year with a European Year of Skills Festival on 9 May. We are linking up to other events and speakers across Europe to showcase skills-related efforts and highlight the value of skills. We invite you to join this event, encourage members of your network to do so and promote it widely. Kindly confirm your attendance here.
To achieve real impact, we need a coalition of efforts of all stakeholders and labour market actors. Throughout the Year, there will be opportunities to engage in discussions, to learn from each other and to promote work in the field of skills development across Europe.
If you are organising events on skills development, please register them on our interactive events map through this survey. You can find skills-related activities and events by checking the interactive map on the European Year of Skills website.EYS National Coordinators shape the Year in their countries.
The Communication Toolkitfor the 2023 European Year of Skills was created to help you prepare your communication activities, events and media relations. When communicating skills related activities on social media, please link them to the Year using the hashtag #EuropeanYearofSkills.
Furthermore, we are eager to hear inspiring testimonials of people who successfully acquired new skillsets for the labour market and stories of successful projects linked to skills and labour market. Please fill in the attached template for either testimonials or project stories, and send it, along with relevant communication material (e.g.: videos, photos) and the privacy consent form signed to EMPL-SHARE-YOUR-SKILLS-STORYec [dot] europa [dot] eu (EMPL-SHARE-YOUR-SKILLS-STORY[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu)
We aim to regularly inform and engage with interested stakeholders and actors. You can subscribe to our newsletter here. For events and activities in countries, please reach out to National Coordinators. For other queries, please contact us via the Year’s official email address: EMPL-EY-SKILLSec [dot] europa [dot] eu (EMPL-EY-SKILLS[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu)
We hope your organisation will get involved in boosting skills across Europe!
