Description
On June 30, from 15:00 to 18:00, the European Commission will organize an event to launch the Mission Charter.
The event will take place in Lisbon at the Oceanário de Lisboa and will be moderated by Claire Doole.
Members States, regions, and relevant stakeholders will be invited to discover the charter and further engage with actions for a successful implementation of the Mission and its lighthouses.
Among participant are Charlina Vitcheva, Director-General, DG MARE, European Commission, Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, European Commission (video), Jose’ Maria Costa, Secretary of State of the Sea – Economy and Sea Ministry, Carlos Moedas, Mayor of the Lisbon City Council (tbc), and Maria da Graça Carvalho, Member of the European Parliament.
