1. Welcome and introductions

2. Agreement on objectives and agenda of the meeting

3. EMODnet-MSFD status update

• Short recap on EMODnet goals and current state of play – Iain Shepherd (DG MARE)
• Short recap and updates on MSFD recent developments including last WG DIKE meeting – David Connor
• Status update of actions from previous meeting - Regional Sea Conventions (RSC) and EMODnet Chemistry/Biology/Human Activities report on progress since last meeting
• Short update on relevant external initiatives (if any)

4. General feedback from RSC and Member States (MS) on usefulness of existing EMODnet data, services and products in view of current practices (how are descriptors calculated now) and what is needed to make these EMODnet products suitable for use? – RSC and MS representatives

5. Identification of specific seabed habitat data and products needed by Regional Sea Conventions (RSC) and Member States (MS) which could be provided by EMODnet Seabed Habitats

• Requirements for specific indicators/descriptors (e.g. descriptor 6: sea floor integrity ensures functioning of the ecosystem) – RSC and MS representatives

   Followed by a discussion on potential EMODnet activities to examine use-cases of relevance to MSFD for a particular sea basin as a way to identify gaps and identify steps to make EMODnet relevant for MSFD.
