Save the Date: Functional food from algae - barriers, needs and opportunities webinar!

EU4Algae serves as an information hub for the algae sector, delivering the latest news, events, and developments to stakeholders interested in advancing algae-based solutions.

 

Hosted by the Algae4IBD project, you’re invited to take part in the upcoming free online webinar focusing on “Functional food from algae – barriers, needs and opportunities” on 14 October 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM CET.

 

The webinar will dive deep into the current potential, barriers and needs of developing functional food from algae. Questions such as “What is the current state of algae production? How to cost-effectively produce algae-based food? What are the requirements for food stipulated by the European Food Safety Authority?” will be addressed. It will also feature insightful talks from experts, followed by a panel discussion on the latest breakthroughs and challenges in the field.
