Blue Horizon is a radio show entirely dedicated to the ocean, its secrets, the dangers that put it at risk, the opportunities for change, and the adventures that come to life in its waters. Various guests take us deep into the Blue Economy to shed light on how the "ocean system" is facing the transition towards sustainability, guided by innovative projects, cooperation policies and cultural sharing. Blue Horizon is produced at POLI.RADIO, the non-profit cultural association managing the radio station of the Polytechnic University of Milan. The initiative acts within the Ocean Literacy context and the main goals are to raise awareness of topics and challenges related to the ocean and Blue Economy, reduce the distance between the general public and experts, present key best practices through interviews to professionals. Every episode is focused on a specific topic, explained by sharing different point of views of the four main stakeholder groups: policy, industry, academia and community. Blue Horizon goes on air live on streaming on www.poliradio.it and, after the live episode, the podcast is released.
