At Loro Parque Foundation we have been working since 1994 for animal welfare and biodiversity conservation. We do this primarily from our headquarters in Tenerife, Canary Islands, but we also manage to be present in many other parts of the planet, thanks to the stable collaboration of colleague entities in which we have found the perfect company to reach local communities where some truly endangered species are located.Parrots and cetaceans focus many of our goals, but the entirety of their habitats and the rest of the animals of their ecosystems also benefit because, as you know, in nature everything is connected. The research, environmental education, responsible breeding, and conservation activities in local communities, form the main working route by which we, in the Loro Parque Foundation, move. To operate actively, as we prefer, we can count on 28 years of experience, a young spirit, and the energy and the enthusiasm of a team committed to giving back to our forests and seas a bit of the animal wealth that the human hand has been snatching away year after year.
