The BlueGeneration Project is funded by the EEA and Norway Grants and brings together a project consortium of 11 partners from 9 European countries of which 6 partners are organisations working with youth and 5 are organisations representing different Blue Economy sub-sectors. The projects’ mission is to inspire and engage Youth and NEETs between 15 and 29 years to pursue a sustainable career in one of the different sub-sectors of the Blue Economy.The BlueGeneration Project is working closely with young people, presenting to them an understanding of the large variety of professional opportunities in the different sub-sectors of the Blue Economy. Over the 5 years project duration, the partners will promote the Blue Economy to 39.000 young people and engage at least 2.000 into employment or training in one of the Blue Economy sub-sectors.
