European Boating Industry (EBI) represents the recreational boating industry in Europe. It encompasses all related sectors, such as boat building, equipment manufacturing, marinas, boat charter, trade and service providers. EBI thereby represents 32,000 companies, of which over 95% are SMEs, that employ over 280,000 people directly. EBI is an established stakeholder at EU level, representing the interests of its members on key issues ranging from the Single Market to blue economy, environmental policy, tourism and trade policy.
