Water Protection Association of the River Vantaa and Helsinki Region monitors the water quality, biota and the operation of waste water treatment plants in the catchment area of the River Vantaa.
Our research and development projects focus on:
- the prevention of agricultural loading in fields and on farms
- urban storm waters and accidental spills
- efficient treatment of waste water
- the effects of water body restoration projects
We also offer children and youth environmental information and guidance on discovering treasures in the nearby water bodies.
