The European Commission invites you to save the date for the European Maritime Day 2023, which will take place on 24 & 25 May 2023 in Brest, France. The registration will open during the second half of March.
The European Maritime Day (EMD), targeting professionals from businesses, governments, public institutions, NGOs and academia, is the annual two-day event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy, the place where ‘Ocean Leaders Meet’!
The EMD 2023 will take place as a physical event at the Brest Expo conference centre in Brest. It will be co-organised by the European Commission, the City of Brest, the Region of Brittany, the department of Finistère and the General Secretariat for the Sea.
We offer an interesting programme with great networking opportunities for the maritime stakeholders: High-level plenary sessions including inspirational speakers, leadership exchanges and stakeholder workshops, pitch stage sessions presenting successful blue projects and initiatives and an exhibition.
As per previous years, stakeholder workshops are at the core of the conference. For 2023 we are planning to accommodate 24 high-quality workshops (6 time slots with 4 workshops running in parallel).
